Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to get it corrected or erased. Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Effective 13 August 2026 · Gayatri Financial Synergy · AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor, ARN-169480

The short version

We collect what we need to answer your enquiry and, if you choose to invest through us, to place and service that investment. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. You can ask what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted — subject to the record-keeping the law requires of a mutual fund distributor.

1. Who we are

Gayatri Financial Synergy is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-169480), based in Faridabadand serving Delhi NCR. We are a distributor: we execute the transactions you choose. We are not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser and we do not provide investment advice for a fee.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Gayatri Financial Synergy is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

When you enquire. Your name, email address, phone number and city, plus whatever you tell us about what you are looking for — your investment horizon, the category that interests you, the amount you are planning to invest, and when you want to start. This reaches us either from a form on this website or from a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, where Meta passes us the answers you submitted.

If you transact through us. The information a mutual fund purchase legally requires: PAN, date of birth, KYC status, bank account details for the mandate, nominee details and FATCA declarations. We collect this only when you choose to proceed, and only what the exchange and the fund houses require to process the order.

Automatically. Standard web server logs and analytics — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. Used to understand how the site is used, not to identify you personally.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
  • To place, service and report on transactions you instruct us to make.
  • To meet obligations that apply to us as a mutual fund distributor — including identity verification, record-keeping and reporting.
  • To send you information about your own investments and, where you have agreed to it, occasional updates. You can opt out of the latter at any time without affecting the former.

We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is needed to do the thing you asked us to do, or where the law requires it. Specifically:

  • Asset Management Companies whose schemes you invest in.
  • Registrars and Transfer Agents (CAMS, KFintech) who maintain the folio records.
  • Stock exchange order platforms (BSE StAR MF) through which mutual fund orders are routed.
  • KYC Registration Agencies, to check or complete your KYC status.
  • Payment and mandate providers, to register and execute a SIP mandate you have authorised.
  • Regulators and authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Where an enquiry reaches us through Facebook or Instagram, Meta also processes your data under its own policies before it reaches us; that part is governed by Meta, not by us.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become investments are kept for up to three years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, and then deleted.

Where you have transacted through us, records are retained for at least five years after the end of the relationship, as required under the Prevention of Money-Laundering (Maintenance of Records) Rules. We cannot delete those earlier, even on request — but we can stop contacting you, and we will.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it has been shared.
  • Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated.
  • Have your data erased, where we are not required to retain it.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer service an investment for you.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

Write to info@gfswc.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for this.

7. Keeping it secure

Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to do their work. Data sent between your browser and this site is encrypted in transit. Where information is passed to an exchange, registrar or fund house, it travels over their secured channels.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as required.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies necessary for it to work, and analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though some preferences will not be remembered.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children. A minor can hold a mutual fund folio only through a guardian, and any such data is provided by, and remains the responsibility of, that guardian.

10. Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, write to info@gfswc.com with “Privacy grievance” in the subject line, and we will acknowledge it and tell you what we are doing about it. If you remain dissatisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

For complaints about mutual fund distribution specifically, you may also approach AMFI or SEBI’s SCORES platform.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted here rather than made quietly.

Gayatri Financial Synergy is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-169480), held by Roohani Bangia, not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser.
