Five facts, laid side by side
No scores, no verdicts — just the details that help you tell two funds apart.
Category & group
A fund's category (large cap, flexi cap, mid cap, ELSS, index, liquid…) sets what it invests in; the group rolls that up into Equity, Hybrid, Debt, Index or Solution. Together they tell you whether you're even comparing like with like.
1Y / 3Y / 5Y returns
Trailing CAGR from each fund's daily direct-plan NAV, annualised and dated. Green is a positive annualised return, red negative. A dash means insufficient history for that period.
Return vs its category
A plain-fact line showing how a fund's past 3-year return sits within its own category cohort. It describes relative past performance — it is not a ranking or a rating.
Latest NAV
The most recent published net asset value per unit, with its date — the price at which one unit of the fund is valued. Each fund links to its full detail page.
Compare like with like
Two funds only compare cleanly when they chase the same kind of return. A liquid fund and a mid-cap fund will always look worlds apart — because they're built for different jobs, not because one is “winning”.
- Same category first — line up funds with the same mandate so returns are genuinely like-for-like.
- Weight the longer periods — one strong year can flatter a fund; three- and five-year figures show more.
- Returns are one input — mandate, risk, cost, consistency and your own goals matter as much or more.
Everything here describes structure and past performance, not suitability. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
